What you share

We store your email, public garden name, plots, stories, candles, language preference and orders. Your email is private. Drafts are visible only in your account. Published stories, memorials and your public garden name are visible to everyone.

Signing in

Passwords and recovery codes are stored as protected hashes. Google sign-in shares your verified email and account identifier. We do not access Gmail, contacts, calendar or Drive. Google access and refresh tokens are not retained.

Account emails

We send welcome, password recovery, password change and order emails through Spacemail from info@burymydream.com. Email confirmation is not required. Recovery links work once and expire after 30 minutes. Queued email content is cleared after sending or expiry; delivery records are retained.

Cookies and security

Essential cookies keep you signed in for 30 days, protect Google sign-in for 10 minutes, and remember guest candles and your language for one year. Language is also saved in your browser storage. We use limited connection data to prevent abuse. Clearing cookies signs you out and forgets your guest candles.

Services that help run the garden

Our website and database run on a Spaceship server. Spacemail processes outgoing mail, and Google processes Google sign-in. Google Fonts receives connection data to deliver fonts. When paid purchases open, Stripe processes payment details; we do not store card details.

Keeping and managing your data

Your account and content remain while retained on the service. Expired sessions and temporary sign-in records are periodically removed. Visitors may copy public stories: publish only what you want to share. For access, correction or deletion requests, write to info@burymydream.com. We may ask you to prove control of the account.
